Victor Szoltysek

I’m a principal-level technical leader working at the intersection of AI-enabled delivery, cloud architecture, DevOps, and developer productivity. I help teams turn ambitious modernization and AI ideas into practical workflows, stronger engineering capability, and measurable outcomes.

I’m an AWS Gold Jacket, with all 14 active AWS certifications, and I stay close to the work: architecture, delivery, workshops, prototypes, and the operating habits that help teams move faster without creating more process for its own sake.

I’m optimistic about AI, but skeptical of AI theatre. Useful adoption needs a real workflow, the right context and controls, and people who can evaluate the result—not just more generated output.

Ideas in the wild

I use talks, short AI-video satire, and occasional pop-culture references to make software lessons more memorable—from AI work slop and unnecessary change-management theatre to cloud architecture, developer productivity, and building teams people genuinely want to be part of.

The recurring AWS Cloud Enforcer persona is the comic version of a serious belief: good engineering needs judgment, ownership, and a bias toward useful simplicity.
